I studied chemistry (B.S. 2014) and geobiology (M.S. 2014) at Caltech, and went on to ETH Zurich as a Fulbright Fellow, where my research investigated the role of marine phytoplankton in the methylation of Se, an important micronutrient whose global cycling is poorly understood. I have just begun my Ph.D. in the Morel Lab, and am looking forward to studying the interactions between trace metals and microbial communities over the next several years!
